Our Build Process

Choose a Lot & Floor Plan

You begin with land you already own or are in the process of acquiring. Pyvot Homes will review your lot’s unique characteristics, including orientation, setbacks, and site conditions, and help you explore floor plan options that best suit both the property and your vision for the home.

Pre-Construction Agreement & Design Deposit

At this stage, we enter into a Pre-Construction Agreement that allows our team to complete a detailed lot fit and site-cost estimate and engage our architect to tailor a floor plan to your lot and lifestyle needs. A design deposit is collected at this stage to cover architectural and planning services. This deposit is fully applied toward your home at closing.

Preliminary Plan Review

Once your preliminary plans are complete, you’ll review the layout, structural elements, and overall design with your New Home Specialist. This collaborative review ensures the home aligns with your expectations before finalizing plans and pricing.

Purchase Agreement & Earnest Money Check

After plans are approved, your New Home Specialist will guide you through the purchase agreement andearnest money process. Once executed, your home officially moves into our construction pipeline andthe exciting journey to your new Pyvot home begins.

Design Studio Appointment

Once your plans are approved, your New Home Specialist will schedule design center appointments in Aledo to help you personalize every detail of your Pyvot home.

Homeowner Pre-Build Orientation

Before breaking ground, you’ll meet with your New Home Specialist and Neighborhood Builder to review your plans, homesite survey, and get a clear understanding of the construction process.

Pre-Drywall Tour

During your Pre-Drywall Tour, you’ll walk through your home with your Pyvot Builder to verify outlets, switches, and key elements, ensuring everything aligns with your vision before installation begins.

Visiting the Home During Construction

You’re welcome to visit your homesite during construction with a Pyvot Homes representative, following safety guidelines, including closed-toe shoes and hard hats when needed.

Closing Date Scheduled

As your new Pyvot home nears completion, we will reach out to schedule your closing date. Our aim is to provide you with a confirmed closing date approximately 30 days before your home is ready, ensuring a smooth and timely transition into your new home

Closing Day!

This is the moment you officially become a Pyvot homeowner! At the closing table, you’ll be handed the keys to your new home. We will work closely with your lender and the title company to ensure you understand everything you need to bring to the closing table. From this point forward, welcome home to your brand-new Pyvot home!

Follow-Up and Warranty Check-In

Sixty days after closing on your new Pyvot home, we will reach out to schedule a warranty check-in. During this visit, we will review your home and address any concerns you may have regarding warrantable items. We will also contact you again 11 months after closing for a follow-up warranty check-in.
