Step 1
Choose a Lot & Floor Plan
The first step in creating your dream home with Pyvot Homes is selecting the perfect lot and floor plan. Explore our thoughtfully designed floor plans and available homesites to find the ideal combination that fits your lifestyle. If you already have your own lot, we can build there too, bringing your vision to life exactly where you want it. Your New Home Specialist will be there to guide you through the options, ensuring you make the best choice for your future home.
Step 2
Purchase Agreement & Earnest Money Check
Congratulations on choosing your dream home with Pyvot Homes! After selecting your preferred floor plan and homesite, your New Home Specialist will walk you through the purchase agreement to ensure you understand every detail. Once signed, you’ll submit an earnest money check, signaling your commitment to moving forward. This marks the official start of the exciting journey to bring your new home to life!
Step 3
Structure Review & Sign Off
Once your New Home Specialist receives the preliminary set of plans for your Pyvot home, you’ll have a structural review meeting. During this meeting, you’ll go over all the selected plan options and carefully review the structure of your home. Once everything meets your expectations, you’ll give your approval, and we’ll move forward with bringing your dream home to life!
Step 4
Design Studio Appointment
After you approve your plans, your New Home Specialist will reach out to schedule your appointments. Our specialists are here to help you personalize every detail of your new Pyvot home at our design center in Aledo. We recommend making arrangements for childcare during these appointments to ensure you can focus on creating your perfect home.
Step 5
Home Owner Pre-Build Orientation
Prior to breaking ground on your homesite, you will meet with your New Home Specialist and Neighborhood Builder to verify your plans and homesite survey. This is a great opportunity for you to ask questions about the “nuts and bolts” of your home and to understand the construction process.
Step 6
Pre-Drywall Tour
Before the installation of your mechanical systems, you’ll have a Pre-Drywall Tour with your Pyvot Homes Builder. During this walkthrough, you’ll verify the placement of outlets, switches, and other key elements to ensure everything is perfectly aligned with your vision before we move forward.
Step 7
Visiting The Home During Construction
You’re welcome to visit your homesite throughout the construction process, accompanied by your Pyvot Homes Builder or New Home Specialist. Safety is our top priority, so we ask that you always wear closed-toe shoes, and we’ll provide a hard hat when necessary. For your safety, please ensure that you only enter your home with a Pyvot Homes representative present.
Step 8
Closing Date Scheduled
As your new Pyvot home nears completion, we will reach out to schedule your closing date. Our aim is to provide you with a confirmed closing date approximately 30 days before your home is ready, ensuring a smooth and timely transition into your new home.
Step 9
Welcome Home Orientation
Your Welcome Home Orientation is an introduction to your new Pyvot home and its many features. During this orientation, we will:
- Demonstrate the various features of your new home.
- Verify that all your selections have been installed according to plan and identify any corrections that need to be addressed, if necessary.
- Review our warranty process, to ensure your continued satisfaction with your new home.
Step 10
Closing On Your New Home!
This is the moment you officially become a Pyvot homeowner! At the closing table, you’ll be handed the keys to your new home. We will work closely with your lender and the title company to ensure you understand everything you need to bring to the closing table. From this point forward, welcome home to your brand-new Pyvot home!
Step 11
Follow up & Warranty Check In
Sixty days after closing on your new Pyvot home, we will reach out to schedule a warranty check-in. During this visit, we will review your home and address any concerns you may have regarding warrantable items. We will also contact you again 11 months after closing for a follow-up warranty check-in.
